Alongside revealing that Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment would be getting multi-platform releases, Microsoft has also revealed that two more of its first-party titles will be coming to other platforms—Grounded and Sea of Thieves. Grounded is coming to PS4, PS5 and Nintendo Switch on April 16, while Sea of Thieves is coming to PS5 on April 30.
It is worth noting that both of the multiplayer titles coming to other platforms will feature cross-platform multiplayer, allowing players across PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch to play online together. This is especially noteworthy for a multiplayer-focused game like Sea of Thieves.
Pentiment was confirmed to be coming to Nintendo Switch during Nintendo’s Partner Showcase Direct yesterday. The game has also been confirmed for release on PS4 and PS5. Shortly afterwards, Microsoft also went on to confirm that rhythm-based action game Hi-Fi Rush would be coming to PS5 in March. Both titles were named in previous rumours.
Earlier this month, Microsoft had announced that it would be bringing four of its first-party titles to other platforms. The latest announcements make it clear that the four games are Pentiment, Grounded, Sea of Thieves and Hi-Fi Rush.
