An artist has designed a pair of hand-painted Scooby-Doo Vans that show the Scooby Gang and the Mystery Machine. Scooby-Doo is a classic Hanna-Barbera property that was originally created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears in the 1969 animated series Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!. That show, and its subsequent adaptations, followed the groovy teenagers Fred, Daphne, Velma, and Shaggy as they solved spooky mysteries with the help of their cowardly talking dog, Scooby-Doo. Over the years, the Scooby-Doo franchise has branched out into more than a dozen different television series, a run of comic books, several video games, and a variety of live-action and animated Scooby-Doo films.
Although the classic Scooby-Doo cartoons are still the best-known entries in the franchise across the world, there has been plenty of new material in recent years. The most recent cinematic outing was the 2020 film Scoob!, which starred Will Forte as Shaggy, Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, and Gina Rodriguez as Velma. The guest star-packed animated series Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? season 2 premiered just a year later on HBO Max, which is also reportedly pursuing development of a Velma spin-off series.
