Activision Blizzard just unveiled the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion known as Dragonflight, but each expansion has accumulated its own fan base over the years, which inspired WoW Classic. One long-time World of Warcraft fan has decided to do something creative with their old expansion boxes to celebrate the ever-evolving MMORPG.
Since Dragonflight was confirmed by Activision Blizzard last week, many members of the World of Warcraft community have expressed their enthusiasm for the upcoming changes in numerous ways. Reddit user Thatnerdyguy92 recently shared an image of some themed wall art that highlights each expansion, beginning with the original World of Warcraft box art leading to the expansion that changed several aspects of the original world, Cataclysm. Thatnerdyguy92's display shows the early progress made by Blizzard to get to where Dragonflight is going when it eventually comes out.
World of Warcraft Console Version Not in the Works
The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Classic are all represented in Thatnerdyguy92's wall art which combines the original boxes with their corresponding disc in a fitted black frame. In the case of the original World of Warcraft box, the Classic wall art features the Orc disc out of the four included with the PC game. The box art of each expansion is centered in the frame, while the discs are featured on the bottom-left side of it, which leaves the majority of the box art unobstructed.
