Controversial 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Ben Rathbun wants to complete a certain goal before he turns 53 years old in a month. The Michigan man garnered attention after exposing his dating life in the 90 Day Fiancé spin-off’s season 3. Ben was in a long-distance relationship with a 24-year-old woman from Peru named Mahogany Roca, whom he met online but had never seen on video. Fans, Ben’s friends and Ben himself thought he was being scammed when Mahogany ghosted him after a three-month relationship. But Mahogany wasn't just a regular catfish.
After Ben arrived in Peru, Mahogany finally agreed to meet him 24 hours later. She looked nothing like the Mahogany in her pictures on Instagram or Facebook. She claimed that an Airbnb was her actual apartment. And through Mahogany’s parents, who wanted to meet Ben to test his intentions, he learned that she was 22 and not 24. Even though Mahogany was close to his daughter’s age, Ben wanted to date her as she kept claiming he was never her boyfriend to begin with. In the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days finale, Mahogany walked away from Ben after he called her out for her lies and catfishing.
