90 Day Fiancé: Mahogany Confuses Fans By Speaking Fluent English
Peruvian 90 Day Fiancé star Mahogany Roca shocks her Instagram followers by speaking in perfect English after Ben Rathbun always used a translator on the show. The 22-year-old had kept many secrets from Ben on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days after they met online. Although Mahogany fell for 52-year-old Ben’s shirtless modeling photos, she herself used a filter on everything she posted. Mahogany also didn’t tell Ben her real age when they spoke for three months. Mahogany’s age didn't really matter to Ben, but he did feel cheated, and so did fans.
A bigger mystery about Mahogany is why she was staying in an Airbnb while claiming that it was her San Bartolo apartment. The question was never addressed even during the Tell-All. However, she did reveal that she was back together with Ben after a whole season of refusing to call him her boyfriend. When the 90 Day Fiancé star was still a mystery, Ben claimed she didn't speak English. When he met her in person, Mahogany had an accent that made her sound American. Yet, Ben kept using a translator to talk to her, and she kept answering him in English. If the show wanted fans to believe that it was because of communication issues that Ben and Mahogany had trust issues, it certainly didn’t seem like it.
