What Mahogany Roca Is Up To After 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
A lot has happened with 90 Day Fiancé star Mahogany Roca since fans last saw her on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days with Ben Rathbun. Mahogany and Ben’s storyline was the last one to be introduced on the TLC show, with fans waiting every week to meet the pastor and his Peruvian girlfriend. Ben had met Mahogany online and talked to her for three months. But Ben had never seen Mahogany on a video call and he even loaned her $1,000. Viewers were misled because Mahogany wasn’t in any of the teasers and trailers—TLC decided to only show her photos with filters, making her look like a catfish and many believed she wasn’t real.
Although it took almost half a season of Before the 90 Days for fans to meet Mahogany, she did exist. It was true that Mahogany didn’t look like her Instagram photos, but Ben didn’t mind it. Ben also didn’t care that Mahogany had lied to her about her age, her fluency in English, and her home address. Mahogany was not 24 but two years younger, the same age as his daughter. Ben wanted to continue dating Mahogany even when she claimed she never saw him as her boyfriend. The red flags were plenty, and Mahogany even accused Ben of lying to her and keeping secrets about his ex-wife and ex-girlfriend. But even though Mahogany walked away from Ben in the finale, he went back to Peru without a crew to win her back and they became boyfriend and girlfriend.
