Most 90 Day Fiancé franchise stars keep active on social media, but sometimes their Instagram posts unintentionally make followers crack up over how obvious and ridiculous the photo filters on their pictures are. Becoming a cast member of 90 Day Fiancé or one of its spin-offs often results in an increased presence on Instagram, and it’s no wonder—the social media platform can provide endless sources of lucrative opportunities. However, franchise stars will often feel pressure to fit the influencer mold.
Over the years there have been many cast members who have become obsessed with their self image. Several go to extreme lengths to transform their appearance, including major weight loss, cosmetic procedures, and plastic surgery. Some are barely recognizable from the person viewers first met in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise, and there’s been a lot of pushback from fans who feel cast members have gone too far.

Of course, some 90 Day Fiancé stars decided to go the easy route of changing their appearance with photo filters. It’s a far less drastic way to alter your appearance, but fans are often just as critical of a bad filter as they are of plastic surgery. Most cast members will do some amount of image manipulation before uploading their photos, but a few have gone so far with their excessive filters that fans couldn’t help but laugh.
