Over it's long history the Justice League has counted among its members any number of wildly powerful superheroes, but in the pages of Dark Knights: Death Metal it was established by Wonder Woman that their most powerful hero was in fact Jarro. Jarro, or «Starro in a jar,» is the adorable genetic offspring of Starro and an incredibly powerful telepath who considers Batman its father. Though DC Movie fans may have first met Starro in The Suicide Squad he has nothing on Jarro!
Starro the Conqueror is an alien starfish who is able to propagate miniature versions of himself that attach to people's faces and make them subservient to Starro, When Starro bravely sacrifices his life, Batman is able to preserve a small spore of genetic material that he keeps in the Hall of Justice, which eventually grows into the tiny, and incredibly cute Jarro, who is truly obsessed with Batman. Jarro views Batman as his father, attempting to become the next Robin and in a surprising twist, Bruce is actually attached to Jarro as well, considering him an adopted son and showing him more physical and emotional affection than he does almost anyone else. Jarro proves himself over and over again as a hero who is committed to doing what's right while grappling with his more villainous urges as an offspring of Starro. He is even able to mentally control the entirety of the Justice League when he becomes scared they will die at the hands of the Legion of Doom, although Batman eventually convinces him to stop.
