Deavan Clegg is claiming that her 90 Day Fiancé franchise relationship with Jihoon Lee was 96% scripted on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 1 and only 50% real in season 2. Single mom Deavan was barely 20 when she met Jihoon, 27, on a dating app. Jihoon flew from South Korea to the U.S. to meet Deavan. They went to a love hotel, had some wine, and had a lot of fun, only to end up pregnant. Deavan spoke about how she was Jihoon’s parents’ worst nightmare due to her tattoos, her single mom status, her being from a different country, and not finishing university. But Deavan herself went through a worse nightmare when she was with Jihoon.

Jihoon, who couldn’t be present for Deavan’s delivery when she welcomed their baby Taeyang, quit his job soon after. Deavan wondered if he would be able to look after them financially. Deavan and Jihoon got married during her first trip, but she wanted him to take more responsibility. During The Other Way season 2, Jihoon lied to Deavan about having a well-paying job and savings which she found out after moving to South Korea a second time. Deavan married Jihoon again and had an unfortunate miscarriage before she came back to the U.S. with the two kids in May 2020. Deavan eventually began accusing Jihoon of allegedly abusing her daughter Drascilla. She also started dating again, and her current boyfriend is called Chris AKA Topher Park.

Deavan revealed she and Jihoon are officially divorced via Instagram on Monday. Deavan told a 90 Day Fiancé fan there was no romantic connection between her and Jihoon, to begin with. After Deavan moved there, she and Jihoon never slept in the same bed. Jihoon had “become abusive”
