Kirby and the Forgotten Land introduces a new feature in the form of upgradable Copy Abilities, which sees classic abilities such as Fire and Ice get new powerful variants. One of these upgrades can be found late into the game, yet its design seems to cement itself as a fan favorite with many players. Frost Ice Kirby is getting lots of love from fans, including how one fan has now animated the ability in a cute pixel art style.
Kirby first started out on the Game Boy with Kirby's Dream Land. Due to this, Kirby has had quite a history of being drawn in sprites and pixel art. In recent years, most pixel art has been fan-made as the series shifted into using 3D assets with Kirby's Return to Dream Land. Kirby remained a 2D sidescroller up until recently, however, finally making the jump to proper 3D with Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land's new Ice ability has made its way into pixel art by an artist known as Mohammed Bali, who can be found on Reddit and Twitter. The animation sees Frosty Ice Kirby skating around at night as he leaves snowflakes behind wherever he goes, painting a rather cute image for fans.
The artwork has been uploaded in video form rather than a simple image, accompanied by the same track that plays during Northeast Frost Street, the level in the same game that marked Frosty Ice Kirby's debut. The animation was made as a commission, and the client has commented on the post stating that they love the final product they received.
