Samuel L. Jackson confirms that he will return as Nick Fury in a third MCU Phase 4 project. The actor has been a consistent figure in the franchise since Phase 1, assembling the Avengers for the first time in 2012. He's been busy with other things towards the end of the Infinity Saga, but it appears as if he's returning to the forefront of the universe.
While there are no plans for a Nick Fury standalone project, the actor is spearheading the upcoming Disney+ series, Secret Invasion. The project is expected to premiere at the end of the year or early 2023. However, that's not going to be Jackson's only outing as his Marvel character; he's also going to appear in Nia DaCosta's The Marvels with Brie Larson's Carol Danvers, Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau, and Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan. Now, however, the prolific actor shares that he's also going to return to the universe via another big-screen project for Phase 4

During his recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast, Jackson looks back on his MCU journey thus far, opening up about having to sign a multi-picture deal early on. He then begins to talk about his recent work, saying how crazy it was to go from one Marvel Studios project to another.
