Samuel L. Jackson reveals that he doesn’t think he would do a DCEU movie. Having joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe to star as Nick Fury back in 2008, Jackson has since gone on to become a key character within the Marvel films. The star has appeared in a number of Marvel’s biggest projects over the years, with audiences last sighting of him taking place during the end credit scene of 2019’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. Jackson is now set to return in the upcoming Secret Invasion series, that is expected to arrive on Disney+ later this year.
Both the Marvel universe and the DC universe have been involved in somewhat of a sibling rivalry for some time now, with both studios offering big-budget, star-studded adaptations of fan-favorite comic book characters. With some huge box office releases on the horizon such as Black Adam, Batgirl and Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the DCEU is looking to have a busy year of incredibly exciting releases. DC's most recently film, The Batman, although separate from the DCEU continuity timeline, recently crossed over the $500 million mark at the global box office while only in its second week in theaters, marking a huge feat for the studio.

Now, in conversation with The Happy Sad Confused podcast (via The Direct) Jackson revealed that he doesn't think he would ever do a DC movie. When asked if he was "too loyal" to Marvel to make the cross-over to DC, the star shared that this wasn't the case, but that he wasn't sure that a DC script would ever make him say "Yeah, this is dope!"
