With all the major flagship launches of the year done for the first half of 2022, we are now waiting for the next batch of flagships to dominate the news in the second half of the year. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are expected to be the next big foldable offerings from Samsung, and prior to that, leaks have revealed a couple of things with regards to these handsets as usual. The latest one comes from the Galaxy Z Flip 4, showing how it looks aside.
The Galaxy Z Flip 4 leak comes from a 91Mobiles report that showcases alleged official renders of the phone. It seems to be the teaser image that Samsung could be using in the run up to the launch event sometime in August. The image shows the Flip 4 from the side, having the same button layout as the Flip 3. The dual rear camera hump is also visible and Samsung could be offering it in the same Lavender colour variant as the last year’s model.
Note that Samsung is yet to announce anything officially on this front and hence, we recommend you take this with a pinch pf salt. Rumours this year suggest that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 could be a mildly updated variant of the Flip 3 from last year. Samsung is expected to make the folding form factor more practical with a lighter and durable build, as well as better ergonomics. Most of the features and design are expected to remain unchanged from the older model.
Hence, we could see the same 6.7-inch 120Hz refresh rate flexible AMOLED display as last year, although Samsung could be working to make the crease seem less prominent. We could also expect some improvements to the hinge, and Samsung could improve the water resistance as well.
