@RogerRoger No problem. I played Avengers when it was on PS Now and then later picked up the PS5 version 2nd hand to finish off the story. It was ok. I liked the story arc of the main antagonist and protagonist, but the missions get quite repetitive late on in the game. Out of all the extra characters I only played with Kate Bishop, I think her name was. Who was surprisingly fun to play as, but I was burnt out by the game by then so didn't finish her story.
I bought Sackboy out of all that, as that is the lowest I've seen it from any of my trusted sites. Think that will be a good game to play after Deathloop.
@JohnnyShoulder Am grateful for your thoughts! They're in line with what others have said about the experience, so I'll temper my expectations accordingly.
Hope you and Sackboy have fun together (that's the best I could make that sound, sorry)!
@RogerRoger It was probably a bit better than I was expected tbh.
And yes, I think I may get a visit from the internet police if continue the talk of how much fun me and sackboy will have!
@JohnnyShoulder I picked up Guardians for 29.99 on Xbox from Smyth's today. Was going to get it from Curry's at 27.99 but it was sold out.
I did get Crash 4 on Xbox from Curry's for £24.99 though. I was waiting on a decent sale on PS4 for d pad reasons but I'm planning on picking up the 8bitdo Xbox pad in December when it releases (beneficial for more than just crash) so should hopefully all be good (unless the pad reviews horribly)
@ralphdibny Ah good, glad some else found it beneficial!
I was gonna pick up Guardians but I got Spider-man Miles Morales using some of my CEX store credit. So I got Sackboy for something a bit different.
Hopefully the controller lives up to your expectations!
There were some users who played NFS: Unbound weren’t there?
Is it worth picking up? I’ve just seen it’s down to £21 in the latest sale which seems mad for a game that’s not even 6 months old.
Looks like ps5 disc is back down to £400 again in the UK
