Saints Row Will Keep Receiving Updates, Despite Poor Sales

However, the developers won't give up on the project just yet, promising more updates down the road, and possibly hoping for a Cyberpunk 2077-like revival in the long term.
In a recent financial report, Embracer acknowledged that Saints Row did not perform well, although specific sales figures for the underwhelming open-world game were not provided.
The publisher admitted that overall performance in 2022 "was below management expectations," indicating that several new titles, including the sci-fi adventure Scars Above, failed to impress players and critics, and did not meet their sales targets.
