SaGA Emerald Beyond! launches April 25th
Square Enix has confirmed that SaGA Emerald Beyond! is going to be released on April 25th, 2024. The news has come from the SaGA Glimmerfest 2023 35th anniversary livestream. Two main characters from the game have been detailed including Tsunanori Mido and Ameya Aisling, along with their companions and allies.
Tsunanori is from a family called Mido who are important to Miyako City, with Tsunanori charged with protecting the city barrier. He also controls animated puppets called Kugutsu, which help him fight against threats to the barrier and the city. Kugutsu are controlled by spirits and take on their personalities. Four of the Kugutsu are Boh, a famed gunslinger, Sukune who founded the martial art Sumo, Komachi a singer who can bend people to her will, and Musashi a swordsman with two blades.
Ameya is a witch who has lost her powers after an attack and is a quest to get them back, with the help of allies. Lolo is her familiar and main ally, taking on the form of a black cat. Shinobu Kato is Ameya’s squire and guard who will obey any order she will give. Ameya also has an alter ego called Macha who claims to be the goddess of magic. There are a number of other characters that can be found in the world too that can join your party.
SaGa Emerald Beyond launches April 25, 2024, for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android.
