FX Networks has released a trailer for the upcoming sports documentary series Welcome to Wrexham, featuring Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. The docuseries is set in the town of Wrexham, Wales, and centers around Reynolds and McElhenney as the new owners of Wrexham A.F.C. after their purchase of the UK-based football club in 2020. Produced by Boardwalk Pictures, Welcome to Wrexham also tracks the hopes and concerns of the citizens of the Welsh working-class town as the star owners of the football club navigate their newfound venture.
FX Network has now dropped a trailer for Welcome to Wrexham, putting the spotlight on Reynolds and McElhenney as they attempt to find their footing. Set to the tune of Elvis Presley's «Can't Help Falling In Love,» the trailer opens with the duo in the middle of the pitch on The Racecourse Ground, the home stadium of Wrexham, as they look ahead to a promising future with the club.
