Many rumors have already been circulating throughout 2024, with rumors surrounding the game's starring characters, protagonist, and other ambitions popping up every so often. It was rumored that Resident Evil 9's reveal was going to happen this summer, but the plan was postponed at the last minute.
Lunatic Ignus is a reputable industry insider and has claimed in their Discord channel that the teaser for Resident Evil 9 will be coming in the following weeks or months. While this doesn't sound like much information at all to many people, and this rumor is quite vague in the grand scheme of things, Ignus also said that Resident Evil 9 can be expected to be released in the second half of 2025. This comes after a previous rumor said that Resident Evil 9's release has been delayed to late 2025, which adds more fuel to the rumor fire.

There are a couple of major events coming up in the next couple of months that could all be possible times for Resident Evil 9 to be announced.
