Very little is currently known about Marvel's Spider-Man 2, which is tentatively planned for release later this year on PlayStation 5. What has been confirmed that Venom, one of Spider-Man's most notorious villains and allies, will be featured in the game. Alongside Venom will be the Spider-Man pair of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, each returning from their respective games. Given Insomniac's Spider-Man games take place in a unique universe, different from the Marvel comic book and film universes, what happens in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is entirely unknown.
