Details about four potential new Sonic the Hedgehog LEGO sets have been leaked online, which are slated to come out later this summer and fall. Sega and LEGO have partnered previously to create elaborate LEGO sets based on Sonic the Hedgehog, the first of these being released at the beginning of 2022. In addition, 2023 saw five new Sonic LEGO sets launched, which featured Sonic, Tails, and Amy.
Sega and LEGO are keeping up the momentum with brand-new sets for 2024. January saw the release of a LEGO set focused on Shadow the Hedgehog, which had him riding atop his motorbike on a highway. Rouge and Knuckles also got LEGO sets that were released this past month. In this set, the Echidna can be seen battling in a giant mecha suit against the bat, who is flying in a Green Goblin-esque glider vehicle. The next potential LEGO sets based on Sonic the Hedgehog have already been leaked online.
First spotted by Sonic Stadium, these details were shared by Instagram user mtdbricks. This leak included the official designation numbers and names of three Sonic the Hedgehog-themed sets, along with their prices. According to this leak, these sets are known as «Tails' Adventure Boat,» «Knuckles and the Master Emerald,» and «Super Sonic vs. Egg Drillster,» priced at roughly $60, $50, and $100 respectively, and will be released in Summer 2024.
Following this leak, another Instagram user, 1414falconfan, shared updated details regarding these summer sets, including their piece count. This second leak also gives fans information about a potential 18+ LEGO set (LEGO sets that are complex and designed to be put together by adults), which features 720 pieces. This set doesn't have many details about it, other than it will be released in October 2024.
The «Super Sonic vs. Drillster» one indicates that LEGO could be producing the first Super Sonic minifig soon, with this set having Sonic in his golden super form fighting against Eggman in a drill-based machine. Based on the name of Knuckles' set,
