In a video circulating on Twitter, actor Robert Pattinson recalls his Twilight days with a fan at an event for The Batman. Most recently, Pattinson was seen as Bruce Wayne in The Batman, starring alongside Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman. As one of 2022's most anticipated films, The Batman shot passed its predicted box office earning of $100 million, grossing $134 million in its first weekend in theaters and the movie is expected to take the number one spot once again in its second.
Pattinson is no stranger to the limelight, gaining some publicity after playing Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). It wasn’t until his involvement in the Twilight franchise (2008-2012), however, that he gained international recognition, quickly making himself a household name. Upon its initial release, Twilight gained a fair share of critical reviews but was still a massive success with its target audience. Twilight was a box office hit despite the hate and the complete franchise ended with $3.4 billion internationally. Over the years Twilight has gained a “love it or hate it” sort of reputation, earning the actor and the franchise a steady following.
