Rick and Morty have both been recast in MultiVersus, with the actors who currently voice them in the show taking over following Adult Swim cutting ties with Justin Roiland.
One of the best things about MultiVersus that sets it apart from other platform fighters is how it lets its star-studded roster of Warner Bros. characters interact with one another. Seeing Superman compliment Steven Universe on his heroics while Bug Bunny quotes Game of Thrones at Arya Stark is just the kind of thing that makes these crossovers so special.

I confirmed this by going into the MultiVersus' credits while previewing it, which showed Cardoni and Belden's names. Beyond meaning that Roiland is no longer involved in the game, it also means that Rick and Morty finally have interactions with the other cast members and will spout some unique lines depending on who they're facing.
For example, if you put Rick up against Shaggy, he'll bet that he has a "liberal arts degree" while having him fight Jake will lead
