RHOSLC: Mary Cosby’s Parents Claim She’s A Victim In Her Marriage
Mary Cosby's parents are speaking out against The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star's marriage to Robert Cosby Sr., claiming she is a victim; Mary's mother and step-father sat down for a tell-all interview where they blasted her marriage, saying Mary's late grandmother did not want Mary to marry her husband to inherit the church. The shocking allegations paint a much different picture of Mary's unconventional marriage than what she claimed on the show. With Mary being married to her step-grandfather, the decision caught a family rift that still exists today.
In RHOSLC season 1, Mary opened up about her unconventional marriage to Robert, her late grandmother's second husband. In order to keep the family's church and businesses, Mary claimed it was her grandmother's dying wish that she marry Robert after her passing. Mary has said that her mother is upset over her marrying Robert, and the marriage has caused a divide. Outside of her family drama, Mary has said things that hint at the unhappiness she feels in her marriage. In addition to sleeping in separate rooms, Mary has said she prefers white men over Black men, which is strange considering her husband is Black.

Now the plot has thickened after Mary's parents sat down for a tell-all interview set to air this week, claiming that Mary is a victim in her own marriage.
