Physical copies for Resident Evil 4 have been spotted by a ResetEra user almost two weeks ahead of the game's launch. Hype for Resident Evil 4's much anticipated remake has reached an all-time high, with the game only looking better each time Capcom has showcased it. The wait for the game's launch might have just gotten a whole lot harder, however, as images have begun to circulate showing that some retailers have received their copies of the game over two weeks in advance of its release.
In June 2022, Capcom announced Resident Evil 4, a remake of the beloved 2005 Nintendo GameCube title that helped define modern action games with its implementation of a third-person, over the shoulder camera system during combat. The remake follows the tradition set up by the recent remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, reimagining the beloved title as a modern, AAA game, taking influence from gameplay innovations from the recent mainline Resident Evil games while also pushing the series forward with new mechanics and features.
