Sony debuts a new Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City trailer revealing a ton of new monsters and zombies, including more of Lisa Trevor. The reboot of the film franchise based on Capcom's survival horror video game series will bring the story back to a faithful approach following the major deviations taken by Paul W.S. Anderson's long-running franchise. Written and directed by 47 Meters Down's Johannes Roberts, the film will adapt the events of the first two Resident Evil games.

In light of the announcement of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast prequel series being delayed indefinitely, stars Josh Gad and Luke Evans shared their thoughts on social media. Reprising their roles as Gaston and LeFou from the 2017 live-action Beauty and the Beast film, both Gad and Evans were signed onto the limited musical series with an eight-episode order, set years before the events of the film.
