Square Enix’s knitted plush collection is slowly expanding — it started off with a few adorable mascots, and now there are two more up for pre-order on SE’s official site with an estimated release date of August 2024.

Red XIII, using his design from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, joins the collection, as well as King Mickey from the Kingdom Hearts series.
Joining Square Enix's knitted plush range, Red XIII has never looked so adorable. It uses his design from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and the details on this design are just delightful. Come on - look at those toe beans!
Red XIII’s design is cuter than ever in plush form, especially when you look at the smaller details like his earrings, and, of course, his toe beans. The plush comes in at $38, but if he’s your favorite Final Fantasy 7 character, that’s certainly worth it.
Say fellas, did somebody mention the Door to Darkness? King Mickey might not be wearing the iconic Organization 13 cloak, but he looks just as adorable wearing his Kingdom Hearts 3 outfit in this knitted plush.
King Mickey, on the other hand, looks fantastic too. He’s wearing his outfit from Kingdom Hearts 3, which is a black hoodie and checked shorts. You can even pull the hood over his ears so he can wear it properly!
King Mickey is slightly more expensive than Red XIII, costing $42 - he is royalty, though!
Right now, the plushes are only available through Square Enix’s official site, but since the older knitted plushes are also sold through SE’s Amazon store, it’s likely we’ll see these pop up there in the future as well.
