Red, White & Royal Blue Set Photos Reveal First Look At Henry & Alex

New set photos from Red, White, and Royal Blue offer the first look at Alex and Henry. Based on Casey McQuiston's acclaimed LGBTQ romance novel of the same name, which the author wrote in 2019 after taking inspiration from the HBO comedy series Veep and Carl Bernstein's Hillary Clinton biography A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Red, White, and Royal Blue is currently in development at Amazon Prime. Arrowverse creator Greg Berlanti's Berlanti Productions is adapting the book, with noted playwright and screenwriter Matthew Lopez attached to direct in his feature film debut.

Earlier this month, news broke out that Red, White, and Royal Blue had finalized its cast.  The Kissing Booth 2 & 3 star Taylor Zakhar Perez is leading the ensemble as Alex Claremont-Diaz, who is the son of the first female U.S. President, Ellen Claremont. Playing the lead alongside Perez is Cinderella's(2021) Nicholas Galitzine. Galitzine stars as Prince Henry, Alex's equivalent from the U.K., as well as his long-standing rival. Also starring in the main cast are Clifton Collins Jr. (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ), Stephen Fry (The Dropout), and Sarah Shahi (Black Adam), with Ellie Bamber, Aneesh Sheth, Polo Morin, Akshay Khanna, Rachel Hilson, and Ahmed Elhaj appearing in supporting roles.

Now, Red, White & Royal Blue Updates has shared a few set photos from the new Amazon movie, showing Perez and Galitzine in character as Alex and Henry. Perez is channeling Alex's characteristic charisma with his cool street style, while Galitzine looks very convincing as a suave Prince Henry wearing a button-down shirt and a grey sweater.
