Rayman appears as one of the main characters in Netflix's Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, but he's not quite the hero you remember and seems to prefer snorting lines over saving lums.
After more than a decade of near-silence from Ubisoft, 2023 has turned out to be a pretty great year for Rayman fans. Although we've not got a brand-new game just yet, Rayman did finally make a proper appearance as part of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope's last DLC pack. That's not all, though, as Rayman also plays an important role in Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix, a Netflix series that just premiered and mashes up a ton of different Ubisoft properties.

As has been theorised by fans since Rayman was first revealed to be in the show, this version of the vegetable thingamajig is certainly not the same character that we know and love from the games. When we first see Rayman in the show's first episode, it's revealed that he's the biggest celebrity in all of Eden, and acts as the talk show host of the Eden Late Show, as well as a news anchor for The Eden Report. My fellow Rayman fans are probably cheering for the little vegetable guy right now, but you might want to hold your applause until after you've seen Rayman eating sushi off of a naked cow after having snorted some lines.
