The Race to World First is underway, though of course Normal and Heroic splits are still the main focus of the first few days. In today's Daily Recap video, Dratnos and Tettles break down a few of the interesting differences between Aberrus and previous tiers.
Heroic difficulty has been a little lower than Vault of the Incarnates, both for the early-mid bosses and for the later bosses, but Dratnos suggests that this may be due to us being closer to the item level of the content rather than the content being harder in a vacuum. Splits are progressing nicely for all of the top guilds, with both Liquid and Echo making more use of community helpers than they were able to in Vault of the Incarnates, largely due to that reduced difficulty and increased availability of geared helpers.
Mythic bosses remain largely the domain of guilds not competing for World First Sarkareth, and Dratnos and Tettles' guilds are both among those that have pulled and killed Mythic bosses, so they break down how the first several encounters have felt so far and where the likely difficulty ramps will be in the raid. Tune in tomorrow when hopefully the daily recap video will feature more Mythic action, as splits have been progressing very rapidly this tier!
