A huge number of PSVR2 early adopters are having issues with their PSVR2 Sense Controllers, with a massive Reddit thread outlining the issue in meticulous detail. While we haven’t been able to replicate it ourselves, the post has over 700 upvotes at the time of typing, and is filled with disgruntled fans who are unable to get the right motion controller specifically to register in games.
This seems like a software bug as opposed to a hardware issue, because many are saying the controllers connect and pair successfully with the PS5 console and even work on the main menu – but then fail to register in-game. One of the suggested remedies includes turning the affected controller on and off, but some also recommend resetting the affected pad using a pin.

I don't doubt the build quality of any newly-released hardware, but this is why I rarely pick up anything on launch. The first hardware revision a few months down the line is where bugs like this are ironed out. It happens.
Huge number? Not good.
