Warning: This post contains MAJOR spoilers for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
The Scarlet Witch's powers were on full display in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and the way she killed Professor X was especially brutal. Wanda Maximoff dreamwalked into her alternate self from Earth-838 to find her kids and eliminate anyone who would stand in her way. In this case, she makes a beeline straight for the Illuminati members as soon as she finds herself in a new universe. She pulls Reed Richards into ribbons, making his head explode with a pop. She defeats Black Bolt by closing his mouth, which causes his brain and skull to cave in from the force of his own voice. She kills Captain Carter by slicing her in half using her own shield. She also throws the equivalent of an entire building on top of Captain Marvel.
When the Scarlet Witch is confronted by Professor X, he's most likely to beat her because although she possesses great magical powers, none are controllable without her mind. Professor X can puppeteer people himself without dreamwalking. When he goes into the Scarlet Witch's mind to try to stop her, he finds Wanda Maximoff buried under rubble behind a closed door. She calls out to him for help, and he desperately tries to save her in order to end the Scarlet Witch’s villainous rampage. However, as he is in her mind, she can control what happens there. This is apparent when the Scarlet Witch emerges from a cloud of red smoke, approaches Professor X from behind, and kills him in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it way.
