Pokémon TCG's Best Astral Radiance VMAX Cards
The Pokémon Trading Card Game's latest expansion Astral Radiance will feature many rare cards, including a handful of VMAX Pokémon cards. Following the release of Pokémon Brilliant Stars in February,Astral Radiance was announced as the tenth main expansion of the Sword and Shield TCG Series. The new set boasts a massive setlist of over 200 cards, including many new VMAX Pokémon for players to collect.
TheAstral Radiance expansion will officially release on Friday, May 27, and will largely be themed around Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The new set will introduce a handful of Hisuian Pokémon into the TCG for the very first time, including Hisuian Wyrdeer and Hisuian Basculegion. The May set will also debut the highly anticipated Radiant Pokémon mechanic, which features Shiny Pokémon with powerful stats.

Although theAstral Radiance TCG set is mostly centered around Pokémon Legends: Arceus' Hisuian Pokémon, the expansion will also feature new VMAX cards as well. Collectors will be able to get their hands on rare alternate art Calyrex cards previously released in the Japanese VMAX Climax set which was a part of the Chilling Reign expansion in 2021.
