A new trailer for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet has been released and has revealed a handful of new Gen 9 Pokémon for the very first time. In February, Game Freak announced that Gen 9 Pokémon Scarlet and Violet would launch this Fall on the Nintendo Switch. After months of silence, the Japanese developer finally gave players their first look at the upcoming RPGs with a new video that revealed several new Pokémon.
On June 1 Game Freak released the second Pokémon Scarlet and Violet trailer which included new footage of the Gen 9 region, as well as an introduction to several features such as an online co-op mode. The star of the video though was the new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet box art Legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon. Although the mysterious Dragon's Pokémon-type is still unknown, the new mascots appear to be designed after vehicles with Koraidon's tire chest and Miraidon's rocket engine legs.

The Scarlet and Violet Legendary Pokémon weren't the only new Pokémon to be revealed though, as Game Freak also gave fans a glimpse into the Gen 9 Pokédex as well. Throughout the three-minute trailer, the protagonist can be seen battling a handful of new Pokémon such as Pawmi, Lechonk, and Smoliv. Below is a list of all the Gen 9 Pokémon revealed so far and every detail Game Freak has released about them.
The first new Gen 9 Pokémon to be revealed in Pokémon Scarlet And Violet is the adorable Electric-type Pawmi. The Mouse Pokémon looks to be the partner of the new character Nemona, who will serve as the Professor's assistant in the game's main story campaign.
