Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Player Assembles Cute Shiny Puppy Team
One player has assembled an adorable shiny puppy team in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In nine generations of Pokemon games, players have seen many new features released. But in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, one aspect remains the same: the classic hunt for shiny Pokemon, which adds extra spice to the experience of playing Pokemon.
Shiny Pokemon were introduced in Gen 2 and interestingly, the name «shiny» was created by the Pokemon community. The origin of this term comes from the sparkling sound effect and animation that happens when a player encounters a Pokemon of this type. Eventually, the term was officially adopted in Gen 4 and used to promote a specific shiny Pokemon event. Shiny Pokemon have a different color palette than their original counterparts and are harder to find. Because of their rarity, some players go to great lengths to assemble an impressive Pokedex of shiny Pokemon.

User NachoCorp1 shared on Reddit a video showing their adorable shiny puppy team. The player is on the beach and calls the Pokemon close to them, sharing a wholesome moment of interaction. Pokemon has a considerable variety of Pokemon based on dogs, and NachoCorp1's team brings together a bit of the franchise's past and present. Part of the team consists of Growlithe, the Gen 1 Fire-type and one of the original 150, and the Gen 2 Dark/Fire-type Houndor. Although Growlithe and Rockruff are territory rivals, the Gen 7 Rock-type is also present in the team created by the player.
