Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is getting connectivity with Pokemon GO. Integration between these games comes with bonuses that will bridge certain unique features of each game as a precursor to eventual connectivity to Pokemon Home.

They will need just the location data from one postcard to get a new pattern in Scarlet and Violet, rather than the slow process of getting a minimum 3 candies per catch on the path to 125 candies it takes to evolve Scatterbug to Vivillon with a different pattern.

In return, players will be able to catch Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokemon GO. By sending a postcard to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the Coin Bag is unlocked in Pokemon GO.
