Much like other Pokemon titles, players will need items in order to evolve their team in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. There are several evolutions of different Pokemon that need something called a Peat Block in order to evolve, and finding one can be pretty difficult.
The Peat Block is an item used solely for Pokemon evolutions in Arceus. Teddiursa will need a Peat Block in order to evolve into Ursaring, and Ursaring into Ursaluna. But there is a limit to when this can take place; with Pokemon Legends: Arceus' weather and moon phases, players can only make these evolutions only during the full moon in the Crimson Mirelands. But first, they will need to find a Peat Block.
Pokemon Legends: Arceus — Cherrim Locations (Request 17)
The best location to look for Peat Blocks is in the Crimson Mireland, close to where players can find Hearty Grains for Request 23. Players will need to use their Treasure Detector while riding an Ursaluna, looking for anything that flashes yellow in the area. Make sure to bring along a Pokemon that can dig up items, as players won't be able to dig them up for themselves. There are plenty of items that players can get by digging in the Crimson Mirelands, so don't expect a Peat Block to be the first thing dug up. Keep looking for new treasures with the Detector until a Peat Block is found.
Players will also earn a Peat Block for completing one of the many Requests in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. A single Peat Block is the reward for Request 86, called Gone Astray… in the Icelands. If players don't want to ride out into the world on their Ursluna looking for treasure, or if they are already looking to complete this quest chain, it's a fairy easy way to get a Peat Block.
