A bizarre new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus shows Basculegion being released during an Antiques Roadshow-style TV show, and smashing the place up with its bulk. Pokémon Legends: Arceus has added Hisuian versions of existing Pokémon, which evolved differently than the Pokémon forms that fans might be used to from games set in the modern day, due to the harsher environment of the Hisui region.
There are a few Pokémon that have new Hisuian evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. One of the first Hisuian evolutions revealed following the announcement of the game was Basculegion, which is a Water/Ghost-type evolution of Basculin. Basculegion is haunted by the ghosts of its pod mates that died in the rough waters of the Hisui region, allowing it to wield necrotic energy as a weapon and wear it like a suit of armor. Basculegion has a dark origin story, but it's an incredibly useful Pokémon to have in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as it acts as the Surf Pokémon in the game. Once the player has access to Basculegion, they can use it to travel across the water.

Not everyone is happy to see Basculegion, as it's not the kind of Pokémon that can relax at a party. A new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available on the official Pokémon Twitter account, and it shows people examining items in an Antiques Roadshow-style TV program. A guest brings on one of the steam-powered Poké Balls from Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which unleashes a puppet Basculegion that goes on to smash into all of the antiques in an attempt to break free and return to its watery home.
