Minecraft Fan Turns Music Disks Into Real Life Coasters
One fan of the sandbox game Minecraft has decided to re-create the music disks that can be obtained and crafted in-game to celebrate this important asset.
The Minecraft soundtrack was created in part by Daniel Rosenfield, the man behind the legendary handle «C418», and appears on records. There are a total of 14 disks currently available in Minecraft, and 12 of them have been accurately replicated to equal their in-game design as a charming collection of real life drink coasters.

The relaxing ambient soundtrack records were re-created by Reddit user «cpsedmonds,» who has posted their artistic venture online by repurposing old 12-inch vinyl records. Using laminates and simple yet evocative re-creations with colorful covers on the top of the center, accurately match the varied appearances that can be seen in Minecraft. These items are advertised as drinks coasters and come in a full set, with a stylistically damaged record at the center to mark the sinister track «11.» The attention to detail has not gone unnoticed, with plenty of positive comments and reviews being left on the original post.
«cpsedmonds» has stated that this creative endeavor «stemmed from a C418 boxset [he] dreamed about existing to go along with the existing volume 1/2 records.» Beneath the post are further links to the full designs that have been envisioned such as album jackets with matching color schemes to house the disks.
