Horizon Forbidden West is all about Aloy saving the planet and a new PlayStation Trophy for the game will result in a real-life tree being planted every time someone unlocks it. Sony partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to make this happen, and it seems like a great initiative that's also on par with the game's environmental themes. So, which Horizon Forbidden West trophy actually gets a real-life tree planted?
Sony previously announced the Play and Plant program as an initiative for Horizon Forbidden West to restore real forests in the United States. The program will run through 11:59 pm PT on March 25, 2022 — or until the maximum donation of almost 300,000 trees is reached. Players who unlock the PSN trophy will help to reforest Douglas County Forest in Wisconsin, California's Sheep Fire Private Lands, and Torreya State Park in Florida. It's a great initiative that requires very little time and effort from anyone who's playing the game.
