After months of Kanye West publicly insulting his ex-wife, The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, and her boyfriend, Pete Davidson, the Saturday Night Live cast member has seemingly responded. While Pete has become a fan-favorite on the NBC series, with numerous stand-up specials and film appearances, the comedian has kept a low profile since dating Kim. Pete is the first person she has publicly dated since filing for divorce from Kanye in February 2021. The pair met when she hosted SNL in October 2021. Shortly after the appearance, they began dating.
Pete has been making headlines most recently due to his ongoing (if one-sided) public feud with Kanye. Kanye began voicing complaints against the King of Staten Island star shortly after Kim and Pete became more romantically serious when Kanye started to complain about Kim and her parental choices. Meanwhile, Kanye dropped a diss track titled “Eazy,” in which he raps that he wishes to “beat Davidson’s ***.” The Donda rapper also made numerous Instagram posts about Pete, whom he degradingly referred to as “Skete,” criticizing the comedian for his jokes on SNL and relationship with Kanye’s ex-wife. Despite the many memes and jokes made about the conflict, Pete has been generally level-headed, even calling the diss track “hilarious.”
