Warning: Contains SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard season 2, episode 3.
Jean-Luc Picard and his crew are seeking out a mysterious "Watcher" in Star Trek: Picard season 2, and it surely has to be Guinan. The quasi-omnipotent being who calls himself Q has always delighted in playing insane games with Picard, but now he's playing the biggest to date. Their hope is to somehow prevent Q changing the timeline, thereby restoring the world they know. The stakes are higher than ever before, because should Picard fail in his mission the Federation will never have existed, and instead the galaxy will be destined to be crushed beneath the heel of the human Confederation.
