Warning: SPOILERS for Star Trek: Picard Season 2, Episode 6 — «Two of One»
The Borg Queen (Annie Wersching) took possession of Dr. Agnes Jurati (Alison Pill) in Star Trek: Picard season 2 but where is she going and what could be her next steps? In their mission to stop Q (John de Lancie) from using Renée Picard (Penelope Mitchell) from changing the timeline into the dark Confederation future, Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) and his motley crew are completely unaware that the Borg Queen has assimilated Agnes. The Borg Queen is now fully in control and moving forward with the next phase of her plan, which could involve Renée and the Europa Mission.
Agnes' twisted relationship with the Borg Queen is one of the most compelling aspects of Star Trek: Picard season 2. After they time-traveled to 2024, Agnes allowed the Borg Queen to assimilate her. But Jurati tricked the cybernetic tyrant so she could steal some secrets, including the location of the Watcher, who turned out to be Tallinn (Orla Brady), a Supervisor who is assigned to Earth to protect Renée Picard. The Borg Queen was so impressed with Agnes, who is more «cruel» than expected, that she connived to regain access to Dr. Jurati's mind. The Queen tricked Agnes into killing her Borg form but she entered Jurati's mind and now shares the cyberneticist's body. However, Agnes was still in control of their union until Star Trek: Picard season 2, episode 6, «Two of One,» until the Borg Queen coaxed Jurati into performing a song, which released enough endorphins to let the Queen take over Agnes completely.
