The Picard season 2 finale, which will hit screens on May 5, will then be followed-up by the final Star Trek: Picard season 3, which will see the much-anticipated return of the entire main cast from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Star Trek: Picard season 2 has contained many twists and turns, while focussing primarily on the life of Patrick Stewart's Admiral Picard. The series has explored the childhood of the ex-Captain, examining how it impacts him in the present. Part of this exploration has involved the Starfleet Admiral meeting one of his ancestors, Renée Picard, whose vital Europa spaceflight mission is being interfered with by Q and the villainous Adam Soong.

Now, new images from the Star Trek: Picard season 2 finale shared by TrekMovie.com show Jean-Luc reuniting with Renée Picard once again. In one image specifically, the pair are sitting against a wall in a half-embrace, looking up at someone (or something) up above.
