While Pete seemingly tried to keep the peace, things appear to have only gotten worse. Now Pete and Kanye are throwing low blows at each other and it's spilled over to social media.
Kanye has spent weeks attacking Pete due to the Saturday Night Live star's ongoing romance with Kim. With Pete being the first person Kim has dated since filing for divorce from Kanye, the comedian has become a target. Kanye has blasted "Skete" on Instagram, in a diss track, and in two recently released music videos. Through it all, Pete has taken the high road and has avoided speaking on Kanye publicly. But after Kanye took to Instagram to call out Kim for making another TikTok video with North, Pete decided to break his silence.

On Sunday, March 13, Pete allowed his manager Dave Sirus to release screenshots of a text message conversation he had with Kanye that morning,The Shade Room reports. In the first text, Pete introduces himself as "Skete," the nickname Kanye made up to make a mockery of Pete. The comedian asked Kanye to "calm down" considering how early it was in the morning. Pete credited Kim for being "the best mother I've ever met." He scolded Kanye for not valuing how "lucky" he is to have Kim as the mother of his four children.
