Kanye West's lawyer says the prenup agreement he signed with The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian, isn't valid. The couple, who married in 2014, have been separated since Kim officially filed for divorce in February 2021. Since their split, divorce proceedings between the couple have become increasingly strained and complicated.
Since filing for divorce, Kim has been dating Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. The two were first spotted holding hands at Knott's Scary Farm, and things have rapidly progressed since then, with multiple sitings of the couple going on dates in New York and LA. Meanwhile, Kanye is determined to reunite his family and has taken to social media to repeatedly air his grievances against Pete and Kim's relationship. Over multiple posts, Kanye has continually harassed Pete and accused him of splitting up his family. Kim reportedly reached out to Kanye over text, pleading him to stop his campaign against Pete and to keep their communication private, which Kanye denied by posting the exchange on his Instagram. Kim cited Kanye's social media posts in order to expedite their divorce proceedings.

In response to Kim citing his posts in their divorce proceedings, Kanye claims no one can prove he wrote the posts, and his lawyer argues the posts are hearsay, claiming, "Kim needed to offer the social media posts into evidence, and show that the posts were written by Kanye." Although TMZ reports that Kim asserts, "Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress," she will need to provide evidence that the posts were written by
