The highly anticipated Horizon sequel, Horizon Forbidden West, introduces 22 new and exciting machines to conquer. With a total of 40 machines, there are plenty of exotic and dangerous fights in this new title. A sequel to 2017's Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West is a post-apocalyptic version of the western United States. While the game may not answer all the questions from the first title, players are still eager to see where this sequelwill take them.
The PlayStation exclusive title is already receiving excellent reviews, particularly related to the map's increased size and outstanding graphics. The main story offers players around 25 to 35 hours of gameplay as Aloy sets out to save Earth from another extinction. Horizon Forbidden West alsoreceived its first post-launch patch. In Horizon Forbidden West, machines are separated into four classes: Acquisition, Recon, Combat, and Transport. The Acquisition class includes herbivorous machines that are often small to medium in size. Machines that look for threats and warn other machines comprise the Recon Class. Machines in the Combat class typically attack threats. They are often large with heavy armor. Many of these categories include new machines first introduced in Horizon Forbidden West.
