Will Smith says that he rejected the idea of doing I Am Legend 2 initially until he heard Michael B. Jordan's pitch. Jordan has been on the rise for years, starring in such hits as theCreed franchise, Black Panther, Without Remorse, and Just Mercy. This will be the first time both Smith and Jordan have worked together, but it ultimately came down to Jordan's involvement that got Smith into the project.
