Square Enix and RPGs go together like bread and butter, and the company’s latest outing in strategy RPG glory is heading to PC. DioField Chronicle, a “deeply strategic RPG,” is confirmed to hit PC via Steam later this year according to a dev post by Square Enix. In addition to a cinematic story trailer, the post also reveals tons of details about what to expect in this new and exciting real-time game.

DioField Chronicle also features character designs by Taiki (Lord of Vermilion III) and a soundtrack by Ramin Djawadi, who worked on Game of Thrones, Westworld, and Pacific Rim. Now that’s a resume.
DioField Chronicle is coming pretty soon, set for a release sometime later this year. While we don’t have an exact date yet, we know DioField Chronicle will release on PC. Be sure to put this game on your radar if you’re a JRPG fan, especially as the genre is often overlooked and neglected on PC. Don’t forget to
