Pokémon Legends: Arceus completely shook up the fundamentals of the Pokémon franchise, and instead of classic Pokémon Gyms, its bosses are the five Frenzied Noble Pokémon that serve as Hisui’s protectors. The mysterious Space-Time Rift has caused the Lords and Ladies of the Diamond and Pearl Clans to lash out and become aggressive, and it’s up to the player to calm them all. These part-action, part-turn-based combat battles not only require players to train a strong team of Pokémon, but they also challenge trainers to use the skills they learn on their adventure to dodge attacks and throw soothing balms until the Noble Pokémon calm down.
The Noble Pokémon of the Hisui region are said to be blessed by a mysterious power in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which earned them the respect of the Diamond and Pearl Clans. Each Noble Pokémon has a Warden that serves as its guardian, and players will have to work together with the Wardens and the Galaxy Expedition Team to quell their Frenzied state. In addition to the five Nobles that have been struck with this strange Frenzy, trainers can summon five other Nobles as Ride Pokémon that will carry them across the region’s various terrains.
