Pokemon Legends: Arceus has a lot of new surprises for players waiting to explore the Hisui region. We've already seen the Hisuian variants of certain Pokemon, like Zorua and Zoroark as well as Growlithe, but the latest trailer has teased new regional variant evolutions of starter Pokemon Cyndaquil, Oshawatt, and Rowlett.
The trailer, which you can see below, hints at Hisuian variants of Typhlosion, Samurott, and Decidueye. However, it doesn't fully show the appearance of the forms Dartrix, Dewott, and Quilava ultimately take on. It only shows three pairs of eyes and the rest of their bodies are silhouetted and shrouded in smoke.

The official Pokemon website doesn't reveal the appearance of the Hisuian variants of the starters' final evolutions, either. It only shows their newborn forms and first evolutions. Their final evolutions are still in silhouette. However, one look at the original Typhlosion, Samurott, and Decidueye in your Pokemon and you might notice some differences between them and the Hisuian variants.
The Hisuian variant of Decidueye, for example, is sporting what appears to be a straw hat and has a shorter wingspan, whereas the original Kalos Decidueye wears a Handmaid's Tale-esque blinder cap and has a longer wingspan. The flames of the Hisuian Typhlosion appear to have swirls like they normally would in a fireplace, while the flames of the original Johto Typhlosion come off like an explosion, hence its name. The horns of the Hisuian Samurott's helmet appear to be crooked, while the horns on the Unova original Samurott are straight to the point.
